Characterized by outstanding innovation capabilities, mastery of core technologies, high market share in niche segments, and strong quality and efficiency, they represent the core strength of high-quality SMEs. The recognition of Specialized, Refined, Distinctive, and Innovative “Little Giant” enterprises requires simultaneous fulfillment of six criteria: Specialization (specialized), Refinement (refined), Distinctiveness (distinctive), Innovation (innovative), Chain (supply chain integration), and Dominant Products (dominant product field). As of December 2024, China has cumulatively cultivated 14,600 Specialized, Refined, Distinctive, and Innovative “Little Giant” enterprises.
